Updates
This week has been very busy but I truly love all the work I got to accomplish. It feels great to see the progress I have made! Below is one of my finished drawing for Read React Hockey, my first one being posted on their socials. I loved how I created the shape design. The boxy figure looks very much like hockey player hands. Also, I tried something new with the line art. By using a bright purple at about 30% opacity over top to make an illusion of reflections. That makes me feel the chill of the ice around his hands, and the skin reflecting in shadow areas.
Events: St. Patrick’s Day!
Going to Elevations Night of Worship for St. Patrick’s Day was the best decision I could have made. It was so amazing! My group was super close to the stage. I really saw all Pastor Stevens' wrinkles haha. When their new songs come out on YouTube search for me in the crowd, you will see me having the time of my life. Never thought I would be excited to be around sweaty people. But for Elevation, of course it was amazing. Also the only thing green I wore was a bracelet for St. Patrick’s day… and I’m a day late to post about it. But better late than never.. right?

These vibrant colors and wishful lines in Karolina’s art show a new and lovely world. The way it flows together will make you want to fly around and smell the roses. She incorporates those flowy clouds that interact with the subject is really inspiring, as it brings out a dreamy feeling like no other. I definitely would love to experiment with flowy clouds in this way.

Coming Up!
We have the start of spring on 3/19, so glad that spring really came early this year! It was close to 80 degrees all last week here in NC!
Nowruz is a Iranian or Persian New Year. It celebrates the start of Spring and is celebrated by many cultures around the world. It’s a time reflect on the past and set intentions for the future. I love how it represents great spiritual significance, the triumph of good over evil and joy over sorrow. What can you reflect and grow on during this season? I want to build consistency and focus on how I can time block to get all my tasks done each week.
